Are thrilled to invite you to celebrate our wedding on the 4th of September 2023 (Yes, it’s a Monday!) at the beautiful Castle Šimak, in Slovakia.

We are excited to share this special day with you and create memories that we’ll treasure for a lifetime. The wedding ceremony will take place in the castle garden area and following the ceremony we will gather in the castle courtyard to have some delicious local and international food and raise our glasses with award winning wines from the castle’s own winery. The evening will continue with live music followed by a talented DJ who will make sure there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

Venue

Šimak Castle is a beautifully renovated chateau from the 13th century. It is located 20 km from Bratislava in the center of the town of Pezinok. It now features a winery, a wine exhibition and a hotel where our international guests will be accommodated.

The completed form will be sent to our wedding agency. Therefore, always fill in your full name, contact information, and list any guests you’ll be bringing. If you’re bringing young children, provide the age of your children so that we can arrange a child seat and special dinner.

Simak Castle features a hotel where we’ll provide accommodation for Sept 3rd and 4th to our friends and family who travel from abroad.

Travel

Getting to Bratislava/Pezinok

Plane

The two nearest airports are Bratislava Airport and Vienna International Airport. From Vienna Airport the easiest way to get to Bratislava/Pezinok is by taxi. We recommend booking a transfer in advance at schwechat.sk. Alternatively you can take a bus – Flixbus or Slovak Lines to Bratislava.

Train

If you are coming from Vienna city, you can take a train from Wien Hauptbahnhof to Bratislava Main Station where you can take another train to Pezinok (they run every 20 min and the ride itself is only 20 min).

Car

Driving around Bratislava is easy. You will need a vignette sticker for Slovak highways which can be bought at any gas station.

Taxi

The most popular services here are Bolt, Uber and HOPINTAXI.

Wedding Gift

The biggest gift for us is the time you will spent with us. However, if you are worried about a wedding gift, we will be happy to plant new trees and plants in our garden in France. If you are interested, please send the selected amount to our bank account and then print a voucher that will symbolize your gift on the wedding day.
